Meraki Integration

Pull device and network health data from your Cisco Meraki dashboard into AstraNetmon

Overview

The Meraki integration connects your Cisco Meraki organization to AstraNetmon, pulling in device status and network health data alongside your agent metrics. This gives you a unified view of both your endpoints and your network infrastructure.

ℹ️

The Meraki integration requires the Enterprise plan.

What Gets Imported

  • Meraki device list (MX, MR, MS, MV)
  • Device online/offline status
  • Network-level performance data
  • Device location and site assignment

Meraki data is displayed alongside your AstraNetmon agent data — it does not replace agent monitoring, but complements it with infrastructure-level visibility.

Connecting Your Meraki Organization

  1. Log in to your Cisco Meraki Dashboard and go to Organization → Settings → API access. Enable the API and generate an API key.
  2. In AstraNetmon, go to Dashboard → Settings → Integrations → Meraki
  3. Click Connect Meraki
  4. Paste your Meraki API key
  5. Select the Meraki organization to connect (if you manage multiple)
  6. Click Save

Finding Your Meraki API Key

In the Meraki Dashboard: click your email address in the top-right corner → My Profile → scroll to API access → click Generate new API key.

⚠️

Keep your API key secure — it grants read access to your entire Meraki organization. Do not share it or commit it to source control.

Viewing Meraki Data

Once connected, Meraki devices appear in a dedicated tab on your fleet dashboard. You can filter by device type, network, or status. Devices can be associated with AstraNetmon sites for unified site-level reporting.

Disconnecting

To disconnect the integration, go to Settings → Integrations → Meraki and click Disconnect. Your Meraki data will be removed from AstraNetmon. Your Meraki API key is not stored after disconnection.
