Nova AI

Ask Nova anything about your network fleet — anomalies, root causes, trends, and what to do next

Overview

Nova is an AI network analyst built into AstraNetmon. It reads your live fleet data in real time and answers natural-language questions about what's happening and what to do next — no SQL, no dashboards to dig through.

ℹ️

Nova is available on Professional and Enterprise plans.

Accessing Nova

Nova is available from two places:

  • Fleet-wide: Click the chat icon in the bottom-right corner of any dashboard page. Nova has context about your entire fleet.
  • Agent-specific: Open an agent's detail page and launch Nova from there. It will automatically focus on that agent when answering questions.

What Nova Knows

When you ask Nova a question, it has access to:

  • All agent hostnames, online/offline status, and last-seen times
  • 24-hour latency, jitter, and packet loss metrics for each agent
  • ISP and carrier information per agent
  • Site assignments
  • Active maintenance windows
ℹ️

Nova does not have access to raw historical metric time-series beyond the last 24 hours in the fleet summary. For deep historical analysis, use the Analytics or Reports features.

Example Questions

Which agents have had the worst packet loss in the last 24 hours?
Are there any agents that look like they might be going offline soon?
Why is site-nyc showing high latency?
Which ISP is performing the worst across my fleet right now?
How many agents are currently offline and when did they last check in?
What should I investigate first today?
