Security Settings

Enable multi-factor authentication and manage account security for your organization

Overview

Security settings let you protect your AstraNetmon account with multi-factor authentication (MFA) and manage active sessions. Access these settings at Dashboard → Settings → Security.

ℹ️

MFA requires the Professional or Enterprise plan.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

MFA adds a second layer of protection to your account. After entering your password, you'll also be prompted for a one-time code from your authenticator app.

Enabling MFA for Your Account

  1. Go to Settings → Security
  2. Click Enable MFA
  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
  4. Enter the 6-digit code from the app to confirm
  5. Save your backup codes somewhere safe — you'll need them if you lose access to your app

Requiring MFA for All Users

Owners and Admins can enforce MFA across the entire organization. Go to Settings → Security → Require MFA for all members and toggle it on. Users who haven't set up MFA will be prompted to do so on their next login.

Disabling MFA

To disable MFA on your own account, go to Settings → Security and click Disable MFA. You'll need to confirm with a current one-time code.

⚠️

If you lose access to your authenticator app and don't have backup codes, contact support@astraid.io to regain access.

Active Sessions

The Sessions panel shows all active login sessions for your account — including the device, browser, location, and last activity time. You can revoke any session you don't recognize by clicking Revoke next to it.

Revoking a session immediately logs that device out.
