How does the free trial work?

What is Nova?
Nova is the AI analyst built into Astra. It reads your live fleet data — latency, jitter, packet loss, ISP, site type, and Meraki WAN status — and answers natural-language questions about what's happening and what to do. It's available from any agent page or the main dashboard.
What report types are available?
The Report Builder supports nine report types: Performance Summary, Anomaly Detection, SLA Compliance, Uptime Analysis, Target Availability, ISP Analysis, Network Overview, Agent Comparison, and Scheduled Delivery. Reports export to PDF and can be emailed on a schedule.
What is netctl?
netctl is the Astra CLI tool. It lets you run remote diagnostics — ping sweeps, traceroutes, and agent health checks — directly from your terminal without opening the dashboard. Useful for scripting and incident response workflows.
Does it integrate with Cisco Meraki?
Yes. Connect your Meraki organization API key and Astra will pull WAN uplink status and device health into your fleet view. Nova can also reference Meraki data when answering questions about connectivity issues.
How does the agent work?
The Astraid agent is a lightweight service that runs on Windows, Linux, or macOS. It measures latency, jitter, and packet loss to configurable targets, detects the active network adapter (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, VPN), and reports your public IP and ISP. Metrics are stored in TimescaleDB for time-series analysis.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit. Astra supports MFA (email-based with backup codes) and SSO. The platform is fully multi-tenant — each organization's data is isolated and inaccessible to others.
What support do you offer?
All plans include email support. Professional and Enterprise plans include priority support with faster response times and dedicated assistance.
